Prof. Takanori Kitamura Receives the Order of the Sacred Treasure, Gold Rays with Neck Ribbon from the Government of Japan

Congratulations to our Board Governor, Prof. Takanori Kitamura, who was awarded the Order of the Sacred Treasure, Gold Rays with Neck Ribbon from the Government of Japan on August 4, 2021.

This order is conferred on individuals who have made outstanding achievements in international relations and promotion of Japanese culture, and recognizes Prof. Kitamura’s contributions to cultural exchange and collaboration between Japan and Hong Kong through his posts as Former Ambassador of Japan to Greece, Former Consul General of Japan to Hong Kong, and Adjunct Professor of The Chinese University of Hong Kong.
